Seth Lukash, Chief Executive Officer

Seth Lukash has been a CEO and Board Director for technology and software companies for 30 years, and is highly experienced in strategic planning, operations, finance, mergers and acquisitions and turn-arounds. He built Tridex Corporation, a provider of software and hardware to the retail, banking and other sectors, from $7 million to over $100 million in annual revenues.

He also served as CEO of a group of privately owned companies that provide remote monitoring and production automation for the food services industry. As a consultant, he identified strategic growth opportunities for a leading provider of engineering services for the electric utility industry. Mr. Lukash began his career in investment banking as an analyst and portfolio manager for Carter, Berlind, Weill and Levitt.

 

Roger Del Russo, Chief Operating Officer

 

Roger Del Russo has served as Chief Operating Officer since the company's inception in February 2002.  Roger Del Russo leads Symbio's global sales, marketing channels, business development and customer service organizations and programs. Mr. Del Russo is a sought-after speaker and commentator on current IT and business issues worldwide.  A proponent of both simplicity and flexibility in operations, Mr. Del Russo is a strong advocate for the adoption of open source technologies where they can be used most effectively.  He is a regular lecturer at various open source trade shows and educational conferences, highlighting the benefits of centralized computing technologies.  Mr. Del Russo has been instrumental in the adoption and successful deployment of Symbio's solutions worldwide.

Prior to his position at Symbio, Mr. Del Russo oversaw the development, sales, and support of Agilent Technologies' fiber optic and RF components into networking and cellular communications equipment.  His extensive use of technology to facilitate communications between members of his own team as well as Agilent's global distribution and contract manufacturing partners led to the successful integration of the company's products by industry leaders Cisco, Lucent, Nortel and others.

 

 

Lewis P. Tischler, Vice President of Channel Sales

 

Lew Tischler has been associated with Symbio Technologies since 2003 first as a consultant, advisor, and business coach and later as an addition to its management team. Mr. Tischler is primarily responsible for overseeing the company's financial well-being, maintaining a focus on the company's mission, and for developing the indirect worldwide sales network comprised of distributors, resellers, and value added resellers. He brings a depth of knowledge of business practices gleaned from 35 years of interacting with and consulting to growing businesses.

Known as a consultant, columnist, author, speaker, and educator, Lewis Tischler also has experience as a banker, investment banker, and business owner. He has been a regional credit and loan officer for a bank and a director of a not-for-profit investment banking and economic development organization. He also operated his own management consulting firm for 20 years before joining forces with Symbio Technologies.

 

George H. Balestrieri, Director Strategic Planning

 

Cmdr. Balestrieri is a Life Member/Past-President of the AFCEA Founders' Chapter and President Elect (2011-2012) of the NY Rotary. A former Navy Officer, graduate of the Italian Navy Commanding School and of the Accademia Navale di Livorno - Universita' di Pisa: "Dottore in Scienze Marittime e Navali - Difesa e Sicurezza" (Defense/Security Sciences) specializing in Telecommunications and Electronic Warfare.

George has over 40 years experience: sixteen years in NATO and National operations, including Captain of a Combat Ship and Operational Consultant at the Navy R&D Institute; thirty years experience in the strategic planning, evaluation and implementation of advanced technologies in complex cross border security systems, integrating Nuclear-Bio-Chemical, Explosives and Narcotics sensors. The design of his SLA-C4I (Sea-Land & Airport Security Systems) is described in the book "Terrorism: Defensive Strategies for Individuals, Companies and Governments."
